Henry H. Westmoreland, MD, FACP
Dr. Westmoreland is from Mooresville, NC. He studied organ at Davidson College before going to Princeton University where he was graduated Phi Beta Kappa with high honors in Chemistry. He studied medicine at The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore and did his Internship and Residency with Dr. Lorraine Nardi at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. He continued his training with a Fellowship in General Internal Medicine at Georgetown University Hospital before beginning his practice in Poughkeepsie in 1985.
He is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Geriatrics.
Dr. Westmoreland is a PADI-trained Advance Open Water scuba diver and a member of the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society as well as a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. He is a member of St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Cornwall, CT and enjoys playing piano and country fiddle
